About Me

Long Island, New York, United States
I'm a 20 year who is currently attending college with a major in Computer Engineering. I have been a gamer pretty much my entire life and I am totally OK with that. People always ask me, "Don't you ever get bored of video games?" And my response?, "Absolutely Not." The way I see it, video games is a way I can get away from reality and relax in an environment where no matter what happens, it's not going to change the outcome of my everyday life, at least I hope it won't :). As stated earlier, I have been a gamer pretty much my entire life. But, within the past year, I have thought to myself, "Wouldn't it be cool to share my gaming experiences with people from all around the world?" Well, that is the premise behind this blog. Within this blog, you will find different pages for the different video games that I am currently playing (PC/Mac Only). Within each games respective page, I will be posting about my thoughts on the game, different updates or patches, and even giving you guys and girls some tips that have helped me in the past with these games. Hopefully you enjoy the content I will provide, and hopefully you will be a long time reader :)

Couple of you guys asked for it, both on my blog and in game, so here it is. In this video I do a short damage demonstration showcasing my clean and crit damage on Clocks. I understand that he is sort of a low level, but I figured it would pose a good demonstration to the damage that I do. Plus, I damage test on this mob a lot, so its nice to see my improvements.

Let me know what you guys think....Enjoy

Gear Upate on my...BladePoster

Server: Lawolf
Name: Ainia/YoCroJest/FemaleFighter
Class: Ranger/Jester(Bow)/BP(1v1)
Level: 76/76/89

In honor of Xurtan's Retiring, I thought that it would be appropriate to showcase how my "BladePoster" is coming along. Below, is a short video that I put together that showcases my current gear. I know it's no Xurtan gear, but, I haven't been playing this character for too long. Also, everyone starts somewhere, and no one starts with amazing gear, or at least I don't. I hope you all enjoy this small video and I plan on uploading more videos that showcase me actually fighting.

(Sorry about the advertisement in the beginning of the video. This program I am using automatically puts them at the starts of their videos. Also, the quality isn't the best, but don't fret, I plan to research more into this program and bring HD to you guys. Thanks)

In Honor of Xurtan and the BladePoster

Server: Lawolf
Name: Ainia/YoCroJest/FemaleFighter
Class: Ranger/Jester(Bow)/BP(1v1)
Level: 76/76/85

Before I get into the full point of this post, I just want to apologize for not being active within the past week. College just started for me again and I haven't had a lot of time to play, or even blog for that matter. So I just wanted to take some time to apologize for that, and from this point on, I should be good to go. (First week of classes is officially over ^^)

Now, I understand that post isn't related to FlyFF directly, but through one of the greatest FlyFF Legends of all time...Xurtan. For those of you who don't know who this is, this person was one of the greatest FlyFF players, or at least in my opinion, to have ever played this game. The amount of devotion that he put into this game was insane, and for many, including myself, he opened the eyes to what is now known as the greatest class, again in my opinion, of all time. That class is known as the BladePoster.

Your probably asking yourself, "Why are you posting an article about Xurtan?" Well, for those of you that do not know, Xurtan has officially gave up on FlyFF. After 2 years of solid devotion to this game, he has finally called it quits. "So what's the big deal you ask?" Well, Xurtan has been envied by many people, including myself, as being one of the most successful players in FlyFF. How? Well, if someone takes 2 years in order to build up 1 character, than I call that devotion and a pure love for the game an overall success.

Now that he is no longer playing, and released his final video, on YouTube, a couple days ago, which finally showcases all of his gear, I feel that we as FlyFF players, should pay him some respect. Ever since I watched the first video that Xurtan put up, I started to see the true potential of BillPosters. And if you haven't noticed already at the start of this post, I have brought my BP out of retirement and I will start playing it once again. I have just finished re-gearing it back up and I will start the leveling process tomorrow.

I want to thank you personally Xurtan for all that you have done for the FlyFF community. The inspiration that you have given me, along with many other players, is to great for words. You, along with your videos will be missed and I wish you the best of luck.

P.S. Your gear is absolutely insane and hats off for devoting 2 years to creating, what is at least to me, the greatest class in FlyFF..BladePoster.

(If you want to check out his final video, along with all his others, then please do a search on YouTube for.....Xurtan.)

Gianting....Is it still worth it?

Server: Lawolf
Name: Ainia/YoCroJest
Class: Ranger/Jester(Bow)
Level: 76/76

Welcome back all you FlyFFers. Well, now since we no longer have 2 events daily, it is time to drift away from events, and talk about other things, such as Gianting. Not to say that I dislike talking about event, but posting everyday about 2 events for 2 weeks can get old pretty quickly. So hopefully, you guys will enjoy the change of pace just as much as I will. (And yes, that is why I am not talking about the previous patch that introduced yet another event ^_^).

Anyway, time to get back to what this post is actually about...and that topic is Gianting. Now, back when I payed FlyFF about 3-4 years ago, I would say that Gianting was one of those things that was so hard to do. And I don't mean that in the way of actually killing the giant, but in a way of actually trying to find one. You see, back then, Gianting was the biggest way to make money in this game, so all the giants were always be killed, no matter what time of day you were trying to do it. But, nowadays, I feel like that is no longer the case. Ever since Azria, and now the Wilds were introduced, it seems like Gianting has kid have lost it's flavor.

For Example, people who are in Azria, constantly leveling, are easily making quite a bit of money per hour, let alone per day. I know from experience. I bought a 1 day Azria ticket (which at the time cost me about 15 mil) and was able to make almost 4 times that in the couple hours i spent leveling. I find, that on average, I get around 5-8 Sunstones and 2-4 Moonstones per hour of leveling. So right there is roughly 8 mil per hour. Not to mention all the trash items that you sell to the NPC which is where you really start to make the big bucks. And then, adding in all the greens, especially the ones that are in high demand, you are making quite a bit of money in doing the one thing that this game wants you to do...level.

The same goes with the Wilds. If you 2 man the Wilds (Ranger and ASAL BP), you can make a crazy amount of money for the time you have to put in. I have many friends who just sit there and farm Wilds all day and they have billions upon billions of Penya.

For me, it seems like Gianting has just lost it's touch. Nowadays I see giants, especially the good ones like Mong and Carriebomb, just walking around for hours without anyone touching them. And to be honest, it saddens me a little bit. It keeps reminding me of the days where zones would be crowded with players waiting for that giant to spawn. Where Knights/Blades/Mercs would spam sneaker in order to tag the giant so that they can hold it until their FS/RM comes.

Now, is this the reason why prices on items such as Guardian Bow, Guardian Knuckle, Historic Knuckle etc. have gone up? Since no one is really gianting then these items are not in circulation. I was just wondering what all of your guys' and girls' opinion on this is. DO you feel like Gainting has lost its touch? Do you feel like its obsolete and not worth doing anymore? Or, do you feel like it is still a very viable way to make money? Please let me know in the comments :)

1.5X EXP and Sunstone Drop Event (Day 14)...LAST EVENT

Server: Lawolf
Name: Ainia/YoCroJest
Class: Ranger/Jester(Bow)
Level: 76/76

Welcome to the last day of this amazing 14 day, dual event, event (if that makes any sense XD). The first thing that I would like to point out is that YES, I was finally able to play and gained a level on my Bow Jester. Unfortunately though, I wasn't able to play for long. Anyway, lets get into the events.

1.5X EXP and Sunstone Drop. These are the final 2 event that have been given to us. First thoughts, not SUPER AMAZING, but not bad whatsoever. In my opinion, I would have like to see a different event instead of the Sunstone Drop because I have over 300 Sunstones and I have no idea what to do with them other then sell them. But anyway, lets get into detail about these events (even though there isn't much to talk about).

1.5X EXP. Well, this one is pretty self explanatory. During the entire day, you will be receiving a 1.5X EXP increase for everything you kill. SO, what does this mean? Head for Azria. This is definitely worth buying a 1day Azria ticket, even though I am against them, and getting your grind on. This is pretty much what I did and I was able to pump out a full level in about an hour or so. What I like to do during EXP events, is, kill monsters lower than the ones I normally train on, or that I can kill within 2 seconds. By doing this, my EXP per hour increases by quite a bit and I am able to milk the EXP event.

Sunstone Drop. Again, a very explanatory event. During the day, you will have an increase in the chance of getting Sunstones. Unfortunately, they will be event, which means they are untradable, which in my opinion, is very, very annoying. Even though I am constantly upgrading my gear, I still find that I have WAY to many Sunstones. Even during times where there is no Sunstone Drop Event, I am still finding them like crazy.

Overall, the final 2 event were pretty decent in my opinion. I feel like they could have been a little better, but I will not complain with what I was given. I was able to gain a level, and pickup a few Sunstones in the process.

My overall experience during this amazing 14 day event was pretty good. Some events I wasn't a big fan of, but that didn't stop me from bashing this entire event that was given to us. Let me know what you guys though of this event and if you would like to see FlyFF give something like this to us again in the future.

Elegant Black Wings Chance Box and Power Up Event (Day 13)

Server: Lawolf
Name: Ainia/YoCroJest
Class: Ranger/Jester(Bow)
Level: 76/75

Sorry about be late on the posting again, but with college and working out, I haven't had the most time in the world to play FlyFF or write on my blog in some time. But, with the excuses out of the way, I bring to you, Day 13. Elegant Black Wings Chance Box and Power Up Event. The Power Up event we are all familiar with, but as for the Elegant Black Wing Boxes, I must say that this is new to me. Never have I seen them before. So, with that said, lets get right into it.

On another side not, since I didn't play during this event, I will just give general information about the event(s).

Elegant Black Wings Chance Box. These boxes work just like every other box/bag event. As you kill monsters, you have a chance to receive a box, which, when opened, can have any of these prizes stored inside:

* Elegant Black Wings x1
* Hot Ddukguk x10
* Upcut Stone x5
* Cupid Wings x4
* Activition x5
* Vital Drink X x5
* Refresher Hold x5
* Flask of the Tiger x4
* Flask of the Lion x4
* Flask of the Rabbit x4
* Flask of the Fox x4
* Flask of Stone x4

Not really much to say about the contents of this box. In my opinion, not the best loot is held within it. Aside from the Black Wings and the Upcut Stones, I feel that this box is a little lacking, and won't be selling for too much on the market. The Flasks are a good touch, but in my opinion, this isn't a box that I would personally farm. To be completely honest, I am not a fan of faster flying gear. I'm not too sure why people spend millions, or sometimes billions of penya on something that will make you go slightly faster. But, then again, I guess if you have the money and nothing else to buy, why not right?

Power Up. Just like the 2 previous times this event was given to us, both your attack and defense have been increased. I think this time its 200 attack and 200 defense, but I may be wrong, so please correct me if I am. Again, like i said in a previous post, I wish they paired with an EXP event, or at least an event that had better boxes. But I guess you can't get everything you ask for.

Overall, I think this was an OK day. Not the best, but yet, not the worst. Do I think it was work it being the 2nd to last event? Actually, YES. I am very glad that they didn't have some super amazing event as the 2nd to last one because with what they did, they are building up to, what I hope to be, an awesome last day to this awesome 14 day event.

Treasure Box and Clockwork Butler Event (Day 12)

Server: Lawolf
Name: Ainia/YoCroJest
Class: Ranger/Jester(Bow)
Level: 76/75

For the 2nd to last day of this awesome 2 week event, we have been given 2 Drop events. The Treasure Box and Clockwork Butler events. Unfortunately, just like for day 11, I didn't play much, if at all for this event, so I am only going to be able to tell you what the event was all about and my personal thought(s) on them.

Treasure Box. This event is just like any other Box/Bag Drop event. As your killing monsters, you have a chance to find a Treasure Box, and inside these boxes, you can get one of the following :

* Black Sunglasses
* Black Glasses
* Red Mini Glasses
* Red fashion sunglasses
* Event Sunstone
* Event Moonstone
* Yellow Balloon (Adds 150 HP)
* Pink Balloon (Adds 50 ATK)
* Blue Balloon (Adds 100 DEF)
* Baby Blue Dragon (permanent)
* Baby Tiger (Permanent)
* Baby Monkey (Permanent)

Is FlyFF serious right now? This box is absolutely INSANE. Everything that you can get out of this box is amazing. (Some a little more amazing then others.) Sunglasses, Balloons and Pickup Pets? I bet that people were farming these boxes like crazy and either opening them, or selling them for a crazy price (probably around 30-40mil each). This is one event that I really wish I could partake in. Maybe in more than an EXP event. Especially for new players to the game, getting one of the items in this box can net you a pretty could hunk of cash, or even some help getting you to those later levels. This was an absolute great box to be added for an event, well done FlyFF.

Clockwork Butler. As for this event, there really isn't much to say. It is just like the Mocomochi event where you will find a Clockwork Butler roaming around all of Madrigal, and if you kill it, you have a chance of getting one of these items:

* Clock Bike Chance Box
* Cloak of the Night Sky
* White Rabbit Chance Box
* Toothed Wheel
* Small Toothed Wheel

Even though the Toothed Wheel and Small Tooth Wheel are useless, the other 3 are absolutely awesome. (Just a note, I got these item(s) off of flyff.wiki so they may not be 100% correct. If anyone knows additional item(s) that can be found, please post in comments.) Just like the Mocomochi event, I am not a huge fan of this event either. I have never seen an Mocomochi or the Clockwork Butler around during any of those events, and I know if I do find one, it will drop nothing useful for me.

Overall, day 12 was a great day for 1 reason, Treasure Boxes. I really wish I was able to play for this day because I would have attempted to farm all day in order to get as many boxes as I could have. However, seeing as School comes before FlyFF for me, I was unable to play. Unfortunately, Day 13 is going to be the same way. I have school pretty much all day (damn college), so I won't be able to play much, if at all. But don't worry, I will still be giving my thoughts on it as well as what final event(s) were brought to us.

Little Mia Chance Box and Cheer Event (Day 11)

Server: Lawolf
Name: Ainia/YoCroJest
Class: Ranger/Jester(Bow)
Level: 76/75

Just a heads up, I am sorry that this post is a day late, but, I just started school ad I haven't exactly had the most time to do much. However, just because school has started, this doesn't mean that I am going to give up on this blog. I will still be trying my hardest to post everyday so make sure you stay following :)

On day 11, the Little Mia Chance Box and Cheer Event was given to us. I am pretty sure the Little Mia Chance Box is a brand new event, and if it's not, it is at least new to me. As for the Cheer event, we have seen this before, however, the EXP rates for the Cheer have been increased from 2X to 3X!!!!. But, before I get into that, let's talk about the Little Mia Boxes.

Little Mia Chance Box. These boxes are just like all other box events. These boxes will drop as you kill monsters all over Madrigal. Unfortunately, in the little bit of time that I did play, I didn't come across a single box (as usual). Also, I am not really sure what these boxes contain other than a Little Mia Pickup Pet of course. If anyone else knows what these boxes contain, please leave it in the comments.

Cheer Event. Well, this great event is back once again. Even though I didn't get much use out of it, mostly because my Leach didn't have any cheers because he kept getting d/c'ed, my leach did enjoy it very much. I believe I got my leach roughly 6 levels with the 3X EXP Cheer. Just so all of you know, 3X EXP is CRAZY!!!. Pair this with an Azria ticket and some amps and you will turn into a leveling machine. Now, I play on Lawolf which is normal rate EXP. Just imagine how all those people on Demian feel with this 3X EXP event. Since they have 2X EXP to begin with, the 3X EXP is an AMAZING boost for them. I can see anyone going from 100-120 in no time with this event.

Overall, I really with I was able to play during this event. I definitely could have hit 80 in this 1 day, but, school must come first. Since I was mostly in class for the entire day, I wasn't able to grind out those levels and get my goal of 80 completed.

P.S. Let me know how you guys did during this event. Did you get any Little Mia's? Did you get a super amount of levels? Let me know :)

2X Rain EXP and Power Up Event (Day 10)

Server: Lawolf
Name: Ainia/YoCroJest
Class: Ranger/Jester(Bow)
Level: 76/75

This event is almost over, but with a few more events, I am still looking forward to see what FlyFF is going to treat us with. For day 10, we have been given the 2X Rain EXP event and the Power Up Event. Honestly, did I call this or what? If you guys have been following along, the last Power Up event that was given, I said that it would be awesome if it was paired up with an EXP event, and what do you know, it has been. Thanks FlyFF :)

2X Rain EXP. Well, this even needs no introduction, but, I will give one anyhow. What this event does, is, during the Rain, you will receive 2X EXP. This rain can last quite a bit of time, or, it can last only 1 hour. It is random, or at least I think it is. So, when you see it raining, that is your queue to get to the leveling, and get to the leveling fast. If you noticed my level at the top, I did manage to go from 74-75 during this. It may not seem like a lot, but I didn't get a lot of play time...again. It seems like whenever there is an EXP event, my playtime gets severely cut down. The reason this time....work. Curse you WORK!!!!!. Anyway, I was glad to get to 75 because its one of those levels where you feel accomplishment. Not to mention, my mentor-pupil bond was completed and each of us received some points :)

Power Up. This event is where your character gains both attack and defense points for the entire duration of the event. I do not know how much was given, although I think it was +150, but please correct me if I'm wrong. There really isn't much input on this event, other than it had the perfect pairing with the EXP event. Getting bonus attack and defense while getting 2X EXP is awesome. Faster killing speed + 2X EXP = Amazing Leveling.

Overall, day 10 was a great day for event. Even though I was unable to take complete advantage of it, there are many players out there that definitely did. I am really looking forward to the last 4 days of this awesome 2 week event, and hopefully, FlyFF throws in a completely new event that no one has see before :)

Roanins Magic Level Box & Mocomochi Event (Day 9)

Server: Lawolf
Name: Ainia/YoCroJest
Class: Ranger/Jester(Bow)
Level: 76/74

Day 9 is here, and we are given 2 events that we, or at least I, have seen already. Roanins Magic Level Box and Mocomochi Event. Unfortunately, I do not have much input on this day since I was unable to play FlyFF due to work. But, I will let you guys and girls know what these events are all about and my opinion on them.

Roanins Magic Level Box. These boxes have to be my person favorite out of all the boxes that are able to be dropped. The reason being, the items that this box can contain. Below is a list.

* Azria Ticket (15 days) x1
* Azria Ticket (7 days) x1
* Extra Bag x1
* Scroll of Amplification ES (S) x2
* Scroll of Resurrection x3
* Scroll of Blessing x3
* Scroll of Reversion x3
* Scroll of Sprint x10
* Hot Ddukguk x8
* Fresh Ddukguk x8
* Sweet Ddukguk x8

In my opinion, all of these items are 100% useful. Especially the Azria Tickets and the Scroll of Amp. What could be better than getting a 15 day Azria ticket, which would normally cost you around 130-150mil, and 2 Scroll of Amp in the same day. That is just asking for an EXP event to pair it with and you are set for a good hour of leveling. I really wish I was able to play today, because farming these boxes would have definitely been something I would have loved to do. But, with my luck on getting boxes/bags, I probably wouldn't have even seen 1.

Mocomochi Event. This event, to me, doesn't really interest me as much. Don't get me wrong, the pet is really cool, but I have never seen the Mocomochi monster anywhere in all my times of playing this game. So, to me, it is like this event doesn't even exist. But, oh well. If you guys have been reading my blog, you know that I don't have any luck with boxes/bags, so I bet if I ever did find this monster and kill it, nothing would even drop.

Overall, this day of events was probably one of the better ones. The Roanin Boxes alone made this day worth it, but unfortunately, I was unable to partake in it.

NarKenis Potion Drop and Dragon Chance Box Drop Event (Day 8)

Server: Lawolf
Name: Ainia/YoCroJest
Class: Ranger/Jester(Bow)
Level: 76/74

Welcome to day 8 FlyFFers. Oh boy, what a day this was for me, and I mean this is not the greatest way possible. First, before I get into it, let me tell you the Events that we are given today(if you haven't read the title already). We have the NarKenis Potion Drop and the Dragon Chance Box Drop Event. Both of these events are brand new to me so I was expecting a little more out of them than what I actually received.

NarKenis Potion Drop. This event, at first, I thought was going to be pretty cool. A lot of people, including myself at some point, think that Potions, Elixers or Flasks are completely useless and not worth it. Well, in all honesty, I feel like they can come in handy during EXP Events or even Gianting, just to give you that little extra OOMPH. For example, one of the Potions grants 5% Crit. 5%!. That, in my opinion is HUGE, especially for a 1v1 BP. Mostly because BP's who 1v1 nowadays, if they don't have at least 50% Crit, and a nice amount of adoch, are going to fail at leveling efficiently. So, having a potion that grants 5% for 30 minutes would be a huge help. Below, are the following potions that you can receive from opening these boxes:

Potion of Recklessness Increases your Critical Hit Rate by 5%. Lasts 30 minutes.
Potion of Swiftness Increases your Attack Speed by 5%. Lasts 30 minutes.
Potion of Accuracy Increases your Hit Rate by 5%. Lasts 30 minutes.
Potion of Clarity Decreases your Casting Time by 5%. Lasts 30 minutes.
Elixir of the Tiger Increases your Strength (STR) by +3. Lasts 30 minutes.
Elixir of the Rabbit Increases your Dexterity (DEX) by +3. Lasts 30 minutes.
Elixir of the Fox Increases your Intellect (INT) by +3. Lasts 30 minutes.
Elixir of the Lion Increases your Stamina (STA) by +3. Lasts 30 minutes.
Elixir of Stone Increases your Defense (DEF) by +30. Lasts 30 minutes.
Elixir of Evasion Increases your Parry Rate by 5%. Lasts 30 minutes.
Flask of the Tiger Increases your Strength (STR) by +7. Lasts 30 minutes.
Flask of the Rabbit Increases your Dexterity (DEX) by +7. Lasts 30 minutes.
Flask of the Fox Increases your Intellect (INT) by +7. Lasts 30 minutes.
Flask of the Lion Increases your Stamina (STA) by +7. Lasts 30 minutes.
Flask of Stone Increases your Defense (DEF) by +70. Lasts 30 minutes.

Dragon Chance Box Drop. Now, this is where I get really excited when I read that this was going to be one of the daily events. Back when I played 2 years ago, I had a Baby Blue Dragon that I absolutely loved. It was the coolest Pickup Pet in my opinion, and everyone was always trying to buy it from me (I was never going to sell it though, no matter the offer). So, when I came back to this game, and wanted a Pickup Pet, I knew that I had to find another Dragon. Unfortunately, I had no luck with finding them in people's shops, or if I did, they were incredibly expensive. So, seeing with this event, you are able to find them in boxes, I knew that I had no choice but to grind for a couple hours and hopefully get lucky. Well, if you read my tab at the top, I was able to gain 2 levels from yesterday. I leveled in Azria for quite some time. I would say around 3-4 hours.

Well, this is where my entire day was shot down pretty quickly. After my leveling time of around 4 hours, I ended up getting not a single Dragon Chance Box and only 1 NarKenis Potion Bag, which I have yet to open. Like seriously, how is this possible. I would say that I kill pretty quickly. It takes me around 5 seconds to take down a Mutant Yeti, and there is no downtime with me. I move from monster to monster without any stopping after killing one. Also, to add to add salt on my wound, I had both Lucky Drop and Treasure Hunter on for the entire time that I was leveling. So c'mon, there had to a trick to getting some more of these bags/boxes to drop. There is no way my luck can be that bad.

So, If you guys know any tips to getting some more of these Event Bags/Boxes, please let me know in the comments. Or, if you know the drop rate for these, or if they are on a set amount to drop per hour or something, please let me know. I am getting really annoyed with these events and my lack of receiving the bags/boxes.

Moonstone Drop and 1.5X EXP Event (Day 7)

Server: Lawolf
Name: Ainia/YoCroJest
Class: Ranger/Jester(Bow)
Level: 76/72

Well, everyone, welcome to day 7 of this marvelous 14 day, double event. Toady, we are presented with a Moonstone Drop (again) and a 1.5X EXP. I just want to say, before I get into my thoughts of these 2 events, that I am feeling much better after getting my Wisdom Teeth pulled. I was actually able to play some FlyFF and I was very happy about that.

Moonstone Drop Event. This isn't my favorite of all the events, but it's not the worst. In my opinion, Moonstones drop enough as it is, so having an event for them, in my opinion, doesn't really help that much. As of now, in my bank, I have over 175 Moonstones that I have no idea what to do with. Sell them? Well yes, I do plan on selling a good chunk of them, but I want to wait until the market increases a little bit so I can make a bigger profit. During this event, I was able to farm up about 10-12 Moonstones. It wasn't the greatest amount, but I am not disappointed at the number I got. I am more disappointed that they are all Event Moonstones, meaning I cannot trade them and I am forced to use them (which I rarely do).

1.5X EXP Event. Now this is what I am talking about. Another EXP event is always a great event in my book. Even though I was only able to gain 2 levels, I still thoroughly enjoyed the increased EXP. It made grinding in Azria THAT much better. Also, I am pretty sure all my leaches enjoyed it. Throughout my 2-3 leaches I had, I think I leveled 2 of them to 60 (from around 55-56). And I must add, they were the nicest leaches I have seen in a while. They kept me entertained by talking to me rather then going AFK for the entire time. Also, they were very polite and thanked me multiple times for plvling them to 60.

Overall, this was an above average event for me. Even though I was unable to take full advantage of the 1.5X EXP event, I enjoyed the time that I did level for. Also, it made me meet new people, and that is the part of this game that I love the most.

Hey guys. If you notice the title, then your probably wondering why there are no event names. Well, this is because I was unable to login to FlyFF yesterday due to getting my Wisdom Teeth pulled. I was out of commission for pretty much the entire day so I was unable to play. This means that I am not sure of the event(s) that took place so I have no input on them.

So, what I would like to see is you guys post comments letting me know what the event(s) were and what you thought about them. Did it go over well? or was it a huge flop. Let me know :)

Also, today, I am doing much better and was able to play so day 7 event(s) will be posted on the normal schedule.

Mystery Bag and CHEER Event (Day 5)

Server: Lawolf
Name: Ainia/YoCroJest
Class: Ranger/Jester(Bow)
Level: 76/70

Day 5 is now upon us, so that means 2 more events for us FlyFFers to enjoy. 1 of these events most people, if not all, are familiar with, and the other, is bran new (or at least to me it is). So, let's jump right into it.

Mystery Bag Event. This event is one that all of us have come to know and love. What happens during this event, is that the monster(s) we kill have a chance to drop a Mystery Bag which when opened, gives you an item that can be REALLY great, or your typical Vital X or Refresher Hold. Below, I will post what you can actually get from these bags.

*Dragon Cloak of the Initiate

*Hera Hoverbike

*Wooden Horse

*Snowboard

*BabyPolarBear

*Doggy

*Kitty

*Common Bank (15 day)

*Enhanced Party Skill Range (15 day)

*Full Shout (15 day)

*Scroll of Sprotect x2

*Scroll of Smelting x2

*Activition x7

*Upcut Stone x5

*Refresher Hold x5

*Vital Drink X x5

As you can see, there are a vast amount of items that you can receive from these bags. Unfortunately however, I wasn't so lucky. If you guys read my post on the White Rabbit Boxes, my luck was generally the same. Except, this time, I barely got any bags. If you notice my label at the top, I went from level 64 to 70 during this event. Also, during this event, I was in a RS party just about the entire time. Meaning, I had both Lucky Drop and Treasure Hunter on which should have given me a bigger chance to receive some bags. Well, during this time, which was about 4 hours, I received only 1 bag. That's right. 1 Bag. I was pretty bummed about this, mostly because my friends were getting bags every 10 minutes, whereas it took myself 4 hours. Anyway, if getting only 1 bag in that 4 hours wasn't painful enough, when I ended up opening it, my luck was even worse. What did I get you ask? Refresher Hold. That's right, 5 Refresher Holds. Now, not to say that this is totally useless to me, especially since I have a Ranger and they will come in handy, but it wasn't what 4 hours of grinding should have awarded me with. But anyway, I guess I shouldn't complain. An event is an event, and it's better than no event at all.

CHEER Event. This event was one that I have never witnessed in my play of FlyFF. First off, let me just state, that it took me about an hour to figure out what this event actually did. I know when you login to the game, it tells you to visit the FlyFF website to see details on the event(s), but for some reason, I cannot find any information on any event(s) so far. But that's neither here nor there. What this event did was, anytime you were cheered, you had a 2X increase in EXP. I'm going to be completely honest with this. At first, I thought this was completely useless. Mainly because "Cheering" is something that I don't really see people do anymore. And because it only lasts 10 minutes. But, as I played more and more, I realized that in those 10 minutes, my EXP/hour greatly increased, and on top of that, you were able to get it every hour. However, the downside to this, is that you have to find a leach that has a cheer, otherwise your all out of luck. That, or have a leach that is willing to stay with you for at least a couple of hours so that his/her Cheer count would build up.

Overall, this event, in my opinion, was pretty solid. I would have liked to come across some more Mystery Bags, but I guess luck wasn't on my side. I would definitely like to see the Cheer Event come back because even though at first I really didn't like it, it grew on me to the point of loving it.

White Rabbit Box and Power Up Event (Day 4)

Server: Lawolf
Name: Ainia/YoCroJest
Class: Ranger/Jester(Bow)
Level: 76/64

On day 4, we have been given 2 interesting events. The reason I say they are interesting is because personally, I have never seen these 2 events in my many years of playing. These 2 events are the White Rabbit Chance Box Event and the Power Up Event. Before I get into them, and give you my impression, I just wanted to point out that I did a ton of leveling yesterday. I went from 57 to 64 yesterday and I just want to add that I wasn't the luckiest person. But more into that later.

The White Rabbit Box Event is just like an old favorite, The Spike Box Event. The mechanics work exactly the same. Kill monsters and get a chance for one of them to drop a White Rabbit Chance Box. Within this box there are various items like Vital X, Refresher Holds, Flasks and a White Rabbit Pickup Pet. A bit of a heads up with this box. As I said earlier, I did a ton of leveling during this event. Throughout all this leveling, I only managed to receive 5 boxes. That's right, 5. Also, I would like to add that I had Treasure Hunter and Lucky Drop on most of the time I was fighting. SO, with that said, the drop rate for these boxes was quite low. Most of the time, I would forget that this event was even going on because of how little amount of boxes I was receiving. But it wasn't just me. All my friends on my Messenger List were having a hard time getting these boxes, and an even harder time getting anything good out of the boxes that we did receive. The only things I received from my boxes were Refreshers Holds (Unlimited use of MP for 15 minutes) and Flasks of the Rabbit (Dex +7 for 30 minutes). Talk about some lame items given the drop rate of these boxes. In my opinion, they should have increased the drop rate of the boxes, and maybe lowered the chance to get the White Rabbit Pet. That way it wouldn't seem like there was no event going on at all.

The second event for day 4 was the Power Up Event. What this did was grant all players within FlyFF a bonus of 150 attack and defense. While it may not have been the greatest event, I still think it helped. The only thing that I would have liked to see with this event, was maybe a buff that showed you had these increased stats. But other than that, this event gave players that little extra damage and survivability in order to grind out those levels. However, in the future, if this Power Up Event returns, I think pairing it with a 2X EXP Event would be the best thing. It would make leveling THAT much more efficient and give players a 100% reason to start their grind.

Overall, Day 4 was an average day for events. Even though it seemed like the White Rabbit Chance Boxes didn't even exist, when you did find one, you always had your fingers crossed hoping to get the Pickup Pet. And for the Power Up Event, a little help with your leveling never hurt anyone. I am definitely looking forward to Day 5 to see what twist of events will be thrown at us.

Moonstone and 2X Rain EXP (Day 3)

Server: Lawolf
Name: Ainia/YoCroJest
Class: Ranger/Jester
Level: 76/57

Day 3 is here and I could not have asked for 2 better events that the ones we were given. Moonstone Drop Event and 2X Rain EXP. I was waiting for the 2X EXP ever since it was given to us about 3 weeks ago, and as you guys can tell, I did some leveling with it.

First, lets discuss the Moonstone Drop. Well, just like the Sunstone Drop Event on day 1, all the Moonstones that you receive will be Event so you will be unable to trade them. However, there is an increased drop rate with them, and this is the part that I love. As I said with Sunstones, I am constantly upgrading my gear, and this is the same with jewelery. I love finding cheap Arek +5/6 and Vigor +10 and using a Moonstone on them just to test my luck and see if I can get that extra upgrade. To be honest, I have succeeded about 40-50% of the time, and I was then able to either use the ring, or sell it for a pretty nice profit. Some people tell me its a waste of money, but in my opinion, with the success rate that I have been getting, I have actually been profiting off it. So please, don't bust it till you try it :)

Next, is the 2X Rain Event. What this means is that any time it is raining in game, you will receive 2X EXP while killing monsters. Now, some of you are probably thinking, "that can't be that great, how long could it possible rain for?" Well, the rain lasts pretty long, a couple hours if I'm not mistaken. So, getting a couple AMPS is never a bad thing because you level like mad before you even realize that the rain is over. If you notice my label at the top of the post, I got 3 levels on my (Soon to be) Bow Jester. It may not be a lot, but to be honest, I didn't get to play for long. (It was my girlfriends last night before we both go to college and we are 9 hours apart.) This event is totally worth it and I would love to see it come back within the next week and a half.

Moonstones : 12(In about the 1 hour i played, 12 is quite a lot. I am pretty sure luck was on my side though)

Overall, day 3 was a huge success with me. Even though I didn't get to play for long, and take advantage of the 2X EXP, I still enjoyed when I was playing. I, including many other players would love for FlyFF to bring back the 2X EXP later on, so we can successfully complete the Master's Journey to 120 Event !!

Premium Box and Mocomoci (Day 2)

Server: Lawolf
Name: Ainia/YoCroJest
Class: Ranger/Jester
Level: 76/54

It is now day 2 of the 14 day, double event per day event. Today, we were graced with Premium Boxes and Mocomoci boxes (I think). To be honest, I didn't come across a Mocomoci Box, or anything that had to do with a Mocomoci at all.

Anyway. This post is going to be pretty short because my experiences with day 2 didn't go as well as day 1.

For 1, out of the 3-4 hours of leveling I tried to do today, I didn't get a single event item. Not even a single Premium Box. Now, I know the drop rate on these event boxes were supposed to be low, but I didn't think they were going to be THAT low. I would have to say that I killed over 600 monsters, and not getting even 1 event item is a little ridiculous. But, I know that event item were dropping, at least the Premium Boxes, because I saw a bunch of people trying to sell them in their private shops.

Well, since I didn't get a single box, I have no real input on the item(s) that you can receive from it. I know my friend got a couple Upcut Stones, an Activation, and that was about it for him.

So, overall, my thoughts on day 2 were...eh. I wasn't really impressed with these 2 events as I didn't get anything out of it, and the people that I did speak to, didn't get anything THAT impressive. Hopefully day 3 will be a much more successful event day for me.

Spike Drop and Sunstone Drop Event (Day 1)

Server: Lawolf
Name: Ainia/YoCroJest
Class: Ranger/Jester
Level: 76/52

Welcome back everyone. Now through the next 2 weeks, all my posts are going to be on the 2 events that are being held everyday due to the event from the recent patch. I will be giving you all my opinion on each of the events and letting you know how they went for me. What this means is that I will be updating my blog every night or even the next morning so I can take advantage of the event(s) going on and let you guys know how I did with it.

The first day of the 14 day event started off very hot. Spike Box and Sunstone Drop event. These have to be 2 of my favorite events that have been introduced to FlyFF.

What could be better then having an increased drop rate of Sunstones. Since I am constantly upgrading my gear, I am always in the need of Sunstones. So rather paying 800k-1mil per Sunstone, I can now find them much easier while I level. The only downfall to the Sunstone Drop Event is that all the Sunstones that you do get, are going to be EVENT. This means that you cannot trade them or put them in a private shop to sell. While some people may think this is not that great, I on the other hand, do not mind this at all.

As with the Sunstones, what could be better then getting a Box that when opened can contain all different types of flasks, scrolls, or even a Spike Pickup Pet. I absolutely love these boxes. Even if the drop rate on them is low, it doesn't really bother me. It always seems like I get some good stuff from them that I end up selling and making some money. Yes, you heard me right. You are able to sell the items that you get from the box, or even, the box itself. (Prices may vary depending on server)

Below is how many Sunstones I received as well as how many boxes I picked up:

Sunstones - 24
Spike Boxes - 4 (Within these 4, I received got various Flasks and 5 Scrolls of Res)

Overall, I really enjoyed day 1 of this 14 day event. I feel that 2 events per day is going to bring in a lot of people and make them start grinding again, especially if there are 2X EXP events. Well done FlyFF and I am looking forward to day 2 :)

Level: 76/50

Hello again FlyFFers. Before I go into my post for the day(sorry for it being so late, I had a hectic day of work), I want to bring your attention to my change to my Character info above. If you read my post on new characters, then you already know that I was making a new character. Well, I have been playing him a bit and I am enjoying him 150%. Despite the name, I haven't decided if I want to play it as a YoYo Jester or a Bow Jester.Your probably wondering how have I not decided if I'm level 50. Well, I leveled to 30 without putting any skill points in, but from 30-50, my friend has been plvling me. I will continue to play this character and I will keep you all updated on how it comes.

But anyway, back to what this post is really about, and that is the "Back To School Super Sale."

If you all have been paying attention, then you probably already know what I am talking about. Well, this event is going to last from August 18th, till the 24th, and it will definitely be worth it, and here are my reasons why:

* The Bijin Yukata Set for females
* The Flying Car "The Hot One"
* The Flying Car "Model TR-ex"
* The Pet Tiger Cub
* The Scroll of Name Change

All of these items, especially the Name Change Scroll have never been seen before. So, all of you who love your CS items, this will be an awesome week for you.

2. The XProtect + Sunstones and Moonstones Bundles (with 25 Scrolls and 12 Suns and 12 Moons). Oh ya, 50% OFF!!

3. The SProtect + Sunstones Bundle (with 25 Scrolls and 12 Sunstones). Also 50% OFF!!

4. Buy 1 Get 1 Free on certain items or packages. Each day, starting August 18th - 24th, there will be a new item or package in the Cash Shop that will be Buy 1 Get 1 Free. The item has already been given to us, and that item is the Scroll of Reduction A.

5. A re-visit of the 7 Day Mystery Party Event. However, this time, instead of it being 7 days, it will be lasting 14. That's right, 14 days where there will be a surprise event each day.

So, just from the preview I can tell you that this patch is going to be one that you definitely want to be around for. Not only is the Cash Shop getting revamped with new items, but there will be a different event everyday for the next 14 days. So my advice to you, if you are an avid FlyFF player, is to logon everyday and see what treat we are being given each day,

New Dungeon Idea

Server: Lawolf
Name: Ainia
Class: Ranger
Level: 76

Hey everyone. This is going to be a shorter post then usual due to time (Working a 15 hour day is never any fun).

I was just thinking today, while I was leveling my new character, about the idea of a new Dungeon/Cave. What I think this game could use, is a dungeon or cave area that has all "red" monsters in it. The main reason I think this is a good idea is because I feel people who play AoE classes don't have the same leveling space as people who 1v1.

For example, whenever I try to level my Ranger, weather it's in Azria or Tower, I always get KS'ed by people who are 1v1ing. It makes it so hard to level efficiently when I gather about 20-30 monsters and then by the time I get to AoEing them, someone comes up and starts killing them off. Now, I know at lower levels, you can just change channels and you should be in the clear to AoE. But, when you get to the higher levels, it seems like every channel is always packed with players and the only way to level efficiently is to play really late at night or really early in the morning.

Anyway, this is just a thought and I was wondering what you guys think about it. Please let me know :)

Lunar Zodiac Cloaks - This Weekend Only

Server: Lawolf
Name: Ainia
Class: Ranger
Level: 76

It's that time again folks. The Lunar Zodiac Cloaks have been put back into the Cash Shop, but for this weekend only! Now is the time to grab your desired cloak before they go away for quite some time and the prices start to skyrocket.

This, in my opinion, is a wonderful weekend sale. Getting these cloaks, along with 2 FREE Blessings, for only 1,800 GPots is a steal. What could possibly be better then buying a cloak with +320 attack, +8 stat of your choice, or 2 +4 stats.

If you remember before this sale hit, people were spending upwards of 1+billion (Lawolf server) for a Dragon Cloak (+320 attack), and they were very rarely seen in people's shops. But now, you can buy them for a much cheaper price.

On my server, Lawolf, people are selling their GPots for around 30-35/100. So 1,800 will run you between 540 and 720 million. Which is just about 30-50% off the price it was before the sale hit.

So, if you are as excited about this sale as I am, or you just want to get your cloak of choice before the weekend is over, then I wouldn't hesitate. This sale will be over before you know it, and people will start charging insane prices for the cloak that you are after.

New Character Disease

Server: Lawolf
Name: Ainia
Class: Ranger
Level: 76

Hey guys and gals. Today's topic is about something that I like to call "New character disease." Every now and again I get kind of bored with my current class and I feel the need to make a new character. However, it's never just 1 new character that I end up making. For some reason, every time I get to level 45 or even 60, I feel the need to make another character no matter how much fun I am having.

For example, today, I decided to give my ranger a little bit of a break, mostly because I couldn't find a FS/RM, and I wanted to make a Jester. So, while i was leveling my character to 15, the thought of what type of Jester kept going through my mind. "Do I want to make a Bow Jester, which in my opinion are pretty boring, or, would I like to make a YoYo Jester?" Well, after weighing both the pros and cons of each class, I landed on YoYo Jester. However, the torture didn't stop there. Once I figured out what class I wanted to make, I then had to decide what build would be best for me. "Do I go full STR? Or should I pump 43/53 DEX?" Well, after researching a bit on those 2 builds, I figured that 53 DEX would benefit me in the long run. Having that extra bit of Crit as well as the added Hit Rate never hurt anyone.

So, I ended up leveling my Acrobat to 23 before I started to get a bit bored. So what did i do? Well, I made another new character, and this time I was debating between 1v1 BP or STR/INT AoE BP. I have been torturing myself ever since I hit 15 with that character and I have no idea what to do.

I know that if i go 1v1 BP, it is going to be super expensive as well as time consuming, mostly because I am going to be searching for the perfect set(s). But, I don't want to go AoE because I already have a Ranger that is AoE. So, then the thought of not making a BP went through my head and I started to give a Ele or a Psy some thought. But that didn't last too long because I am not a fan of leveling a Mage.

Anyway, what I wanted to accomplish with this post was telling you guys how stuck up I get when it's time to make a new character. I can never decide what to make and what build would be best for my type of play style.

So, to finish this up, I want to know if you guys have ever mentally tortured yourself with picking a class, and then a build for that class. Let me know what your worst, or even your best story is with choosing what you want to make.

Spammer's in FlyFF

Server: Lawolf
Name: Ainia
Class: Ranger
Level: 76

Hey all. This topic is going to be about something that really ticks me off in FlyFF...Spammers.

Now, before I get into why i hate them so much, I just want to make it clear as to what type of spammer I am talking about. The people who are constantly shouting looking to sell things or looking for Contri's or partners, I am perfectly OK with. That is the beauty of having a Full Shout. The spammers that annoy me are the ones who, mostly are in Flaris, that are constantly spamming in General Chat that they are selling Penya on a website for a very cheap price.

The reason i cannot stand these people is because for me, it causes nothing but lag whenever I try to browse shops, or even just walk around. What I find myself doing most of the time is changing my chat Filter so that it doesn't show things from the General Chat. It gets very annoying to be honest because its hard to enjoy a game that is constantly being flooded by people who are selling, what I understand it as, an illegal service.

Now, I know FlyFF has added a chat-mute feature to the game that will mute players for 3 minutes if they are typing in General Chat too fast. However, these people who are spamming have found a way around that by setting up the spam bot to say things in chat at a slow, but yet very fast pace in order to keep them below the mute feature. And what annoys me about the mute feature is that sometimes I will be talking to my friend in General Chat, and since I can type around 110 words-per-minute, I end up getting muted. It gets quite annoying that me, a player who is just trying to have a conversation with a friend, and most of the time its in a secluded area, end up getting muted rather than these people who are constantly spamming.

What can be done to help this? Well, I have been thinking that maybe FlyFF can hire people who take 1 hour shifts, traveling to the different major towns, and force muting players, or bots, that are spamming. To be honest, other than taking the muting into manual control, I don't really see any other way to stop people, or in this case, Penya selling companies, from spamming and flooding the game with their service.

Let me know your opinion on spammers and if you have any ideas on how FlyFF would be able to put a stop to it

Upgrade Bundles Sale and The Legendary Golden Weapon Exchange

Server: Lawolf
Name: Ainia
Class: Ranger
Level: 76

With another maintenance session down, we are brought with some more sales in the Cash Shop, as well as the addition of The Legendary Golden Weapon Exchange NPC.

First off, let's discuss The Legendary Golden Weapon Exchange. The way this works is, if you created a character during the Master's Journey to 120 event (between July 28th and August 24th), and you reach level 100, you get a coupon which you can exchange for a Legendary Golden Weapon of your choice. My first thoughts on this is, "This is a great idea. Getting a free Legendary Golden Weapon will save you a lot of money." However, the more I think about it, the less into this prize I get.

If you read my previous post on the Master's Journey to 120, I think getting to 100, let alone 120, is almost impossible within 1 month, especially if you are new to the game. However, if you have higher level characters, and you can fund your new character, with an amazing weapon, a +8 to +10 set that is (4/4), and great jewelery, this should be cake. The hardest part will be maintaining your attention span on your computer screen.

What I think they should have done instead was make the event The Legendary Angel Weapon Exchange. Upon reaching 75, you get a coupon that you can trade in for any Angel Weapon of your choosing. I feel that given the 1 month, players, both new and old to the game, will have no problem getting to 75. 75 levels is very doable in 1 month, and I have a feeling it will keep the interest of players to reach this goal.

Next, let's give the Upgrade Bundles Sale a look at.

1. The SProtect and Reversion Bundle (with 25 scrolls each). This bundle will give you 25 Spros(When failing an upgrade, the item is protected from breaking) and 25 Reversions (Reverts an awakened item to its original form). Originally this bundle costs 4,500 GPots. But with this event, it will only run you 2,250 GPots. I feel like this is an awesome deal. Getting 2 very hot items that are always sought after by players for 50% off is an amazing sale. I feel like many players will be purchasing GPots (both online and in-game.

2. The XProtect and Reversion Bundle (with 25 scrolls each). This bundle will give you 25 XPros(Scroll which protects a Unique weapon from destruction while upgrading it into an Ultimate weapon), and 25 Reversions(Reverts an awakened item to its original form). Originally this bundle costs 5,500 GPots, But with this event, it will only run you 2,750 GPots. I, unlike the Spro and Reversion Bundle, feel like this is not that much of a great deal. In my opinion, XPros aren't as sought after as many of the other scrolls. And pairing XPros with Reversions I feel isn't the best idea. If people were going to buy this bundle to sell everything, they, in my opinion, are better off buying the first bundle since it comes with 50 scrolls that are very sought after rather then just 25.

Overall, I feel like this maintenance update is alright. What I am most excited for is the SProtect and Reversion Bundle, both to use and to sell.

The Master's Journey: The Road to 120

Server: Lawolf
Name: Ainia
Class: Ranger
Level: 76

Welcome back FlyFFers. This is going to be a post on my opinion of the current event The Master's Journey: The Road to 120.

First off, I would like to say that this is a great idea of an event to get players to make new characters and experience a different class rather than just sitting at level 129 farming items over and over.

However, I feel like this is quite a hard task to do, especially if you are completely new to the game. 120 levels, or at least 100, in 1 month is a very hard task to complete, especially if you don't have the funds for your gear.

The thing that killed me was that I made a new character the day before while the 2X EXP Rain even was going on and was able to reach level 50. Then, when I logged on the next day to see this event, it killed me because there was no way I wanted to start another character from level 1, especially without the 2X EXP.

As for the Grand Prize that could be won, the new XBox 360, I think this is an awesome idea, but I don't think it is worth the amount of time you have to put in, in order to get a raffle ticket, which was level 100.

Let me know what you guys think of this event. Do you think you are not given enough time to level to 120 starting from 1? Do you think the prizes, especially the grand prize is worth the time put in?

My Opinion on Ugraded Sets

Server: Lawolf
Name: Ainia
Class: Ranger
Level: 76 (Woot, Leveled Up)

Welcome back guys and girls. Today, I will be discussing my thoughts on upgrading your sets.

For newcomers to the game, you are able to upgrade your armor pieces (head, suit, gloves and shoes) all the way to +10 by using an item called a Sunstone. What upgrading your set does is make it have better stats such as block and hit, while giving you a cool glow effect. The stats as well as the glow effect will get increasingly better the closer you get to +10. (Just a side note, you have to make sure that all 4 parts of your set are at the same upgraded state in order to get the glow and the stat upgrade.) You are able to safely upgrade your set to +3 with minimal failure. However, if your upgrade does fail, your item will not be destroyed. This however, is not the case for +4-+10. If you are upgrading a piece of gear past +3, it is essential that you use a SPRO. What this item does is protect your item from being destroyed if the upgrade was to fail. And past +5-+6, I have found that the failure rate is pretty high.

Since I am a full DEX ranger, having at least a +8 set is essential. Without it, I would get stomped around by even just 1 monster around my level. Getting this set (Okas) was where the problem started for me. I have noticed that there aren't many Rangers in the game so I knew that getting a normal set, let alone a +8 set, was going to be hard enough. The though of trying to upgrade my own set started going through my mind, but, I currently did not have the funds for doing so. So, my search for getting a +8 Okas Set started.

It took me about 4-5 days in order to come across one (a lot quicker than I thought). I saw that someone had one in their shop that was open to offers. Since at the time, I only had 700mil on me, I left the offer of 750mil. (I know i didn't have that much at the time, but I knew that getting that extra 50mil wouldn't take long at all.) Within 2 days, I got a response back saying that they will take my offer. At the time I was able to farm the extra 50mil and the +8 Set was now in my possession. Also, I forgot to add that the set was indeed (4/4) with 16% attk which was a huge plus for me.

Do I think the set was worth 750mil? Of course I do. +8 sets nowadays are running for about that price and some, depending on the awakes, are in the billions.

I have been using this set for a good 6 hours now and it has helped me get to level 76. However, what I have noticed is that I don't block as much as I see other players block. For example, my friend is a full STR Blade and he has a +8 set. He blocks just about 90-95% of the time. I rarely see him get hit. But, for me, it seems like I'm only blocking 75% of the time. But aside from this, I am in love with this set and I will be using for a very long time.

Welcome to my Blog

Server: Lawolf
Name: Ainia
Class: Ranger
Level: 75

How's it going all you FlyFFers. If you are reading this, then you must have stumbled upon my blog. What I plan on doing here is sharing my experiences with FlyFF with all of you and hopefully learning more about my viewers and maybe even having a friendly conversation in game.

For all of you who don't know me, and I'm sure that's most of you, my name is Mike, but in game I go by Ainia (Yes, I know I'm a guy playing as a female, but I did it based on gear hehe). I have been playing FlyFF on and off since V2. I have made countless characters on almost every server, but I always end up back on Lawolf. It is safe to say that Lawolf is definitely my favorite server that is available. I have also played just about every class aside from Psy. I don't know what it is, but for some reason I have never made one and I have never had the urge to make one.

My class of choice, as of now, and probably for the rest of my FlyFF career, is a Ranger. I find them to be so much fun and I never get bored of playing it. What could be cooler then getting a group of 50+ mobs and AoEing them down with 4 different abilities. Each of which, are cooler then the last.

Now, there has been a lot of debate, with other people and even myself, as to what stat build is best for a Ranger. And my answer to that question is....there is no single best build. In my experiences throughout the game, I find that any class can do very well with whatever possible build you can think of. (But please don't make a full INT blade, that will get you nowhere ^_^). The build that I have come to land on time and time again, has been full DEX. Many people that I know like to add 30-50 STA just for that extra survivability, but, for me, full DEX is the way to go.

Anyway, I didn't mean for this post to go into a "Ranger Guide." I just wanted to give you all some background information about myself and who I am in FlyFF. I will be updating this blog just about every day, or at least 5 times per week. I will keep you all informed as to what I am doing, and what my thoughts are as I level up to HERO!!!.

Hopefully you all enjoy my blog from here on out. And if there is anything that I can improve on, or just something that you would like my opinion on, please, don't hesitate to leave a comment.

Thanks again for stopping by, and I look forward to keeping up with this.

-Mike
